RAISED GARDEN BED
Simple Raised Bed Field Guide
1 Bed Cutaway
A raised bed holds loose growing soil above poor ground while still letting water drain down.
2 Size + Placement
Keep the bed narrow enough to reach the center without stepping on the soil.
3 Soil Layers
Good beds need loose soil and compost. Do not fill the whole bed with raw chips.
